Founded in 2016 by Sean and Meredith Pearl, Sustainable Landscape Solutions (SLS) began with a simple but powerful idea: to provide landscaping services that are both beautiful and environmentally responsible.
What started as a small team serving the Iowa City–Cedar Rapids Corridor has grown into a full-service landscape design, installation, and maintenance company with over 20 skilled professionals. From rain gardens and patios to prairies and healthy woodland ecosystems, our team is passionate about shaping outdoor spaces that benefit both people and the planet.
We believe a great landscape should make you proud — not just for how it looks, but for how it functions. Every project we complete supports cleaner water, healthier soil, restored habitat, and stronger communities across eastern Iowa.
